Have
you ever been to a place that completely amazed you unexpectedly? You find yourself
wondering, how have I never been here before? Even thinking how truly
amazing it is that God created a place so beautiful!
There
are so many hidden treasures all around us, but sometimes the greatest ones are
not the ones we travel thousands of miles to see, but the ones we find in our
own backyards. Inspiration
Peak is one of those hidden treasures; and it is the perfect place to embrace
the true beauty of fall.
A
couple of weeks ago we set out for an adventure up to Inspiration Peak with our
kids. The kids we so excited and ready to explore! They jumped out of the
car and started running up the trails. By the time they reached the top,
all of their endless energy came to a halt. We all stood in complete amazement!
Honestly, we were not expecting it to be as awesome as it
truly was. The trail up to the top is only about a quarter of a mile
long, so we didn't expect to see much.....to our surprise, it was the most
vibrant panoramic view of the colorful woodland and hills of western
Minnesota. We were lucky enough to capture the perfect sunset and take
these beautiful photos.
One
of our favorite things about this place was how quiet it was at the top.
There was several people on the top of the hill that evening, but everyone
stood there in complete silence taking it all in. It is truly a place to
come and be with your thoughts or to find new peace and inspiration.
Take the time to find a beautiful place and get lost....
